So I'm now 37 weeks pregnant and decided I should probably document a little bit! Sorry if any of this is a repeat! This pregnancy has been pretty good. I really can't complain! I was a little sick from about 7-15 or 16 weeks and would throw up about 3-4 times per week in the morning and then just have nausea throughout the day. I was in school so it really wasn't bad because I was worried about other things. After the nausea went away, things were pretty good. I did have some pain during second trimester in my abdomen as my muscles split a little. Right next to my belly button, my stomach would hurt when I would breath or touch it but that only happened for a few days at a time a couple of different times. But all in all, it wasn't that bad. As third trimester hit, I started to get (and still have) horrible heart burn! I think that I'm most excited about getting rid of that! And just like every other pregnant lady, i'm uncomfortable and can't sleep well but that's expected! I do think it's funny though because our little girl sits so low! The doctor told me the other day that he doesn't even know how I'm still walking! :) And her head is right on my bladder so I constantly feel like I need to urinate! She has been really low my whole pregnancy though. Because she sits so low, I also can definitely tell she's there due to my sciatic nerve. Sometimes my right leg will go tingly and numb and the right side of my bum gets sore really easy. Especially at work and while driving. I absolutely love feeling her move though! She definitely has really active days and not so active days. I usually always feel her have a dance party between 10 or 11 at night until about midnight or one. (I've been told that won't go away after she's born so it will be some late nights for us!) She likes to stick her little feel right in my side or kick the top of my hip bone. She also gets the hiccups quite often lately. I love being pregnant and feeling each and every move but I'm SO SO excited to hold our little girl in our arms! The nursery is almost ready and I'm working on putting the rest together. The crib bedding finally came and I can't wait to get it from my mom. People have been so kind in giving us gifts and hand-me-downs and I'm finally starting to feel ready! She's definitely spoiled!!! Here is a picture at 37 weeks!
The doctor said we'll start checking dilation at my next appointment which is a week from today and then we'll maybe know a little more about when she's coming (hopefully)! In the meantime, we're just really excited to meet her!!!
Jason is doing well in med school and is just really really busy! He studies a lot and I feel like I've become a human dummy as he's always checking my pulse or feeling this or that. I know many of you have also become his subjects of his homework as he takes your blood pressure or listens to your lungs etc. so thanks for being patient! We are both finally starting to adjust to his schedule but know that a lot more adjusting is right around the corner so we aren't getting to comfy! :)
Kassi is doing well too! This is probably her favorite thing in the world! I'm nervous to her adjusting to our new addition when she comes but hopefully it will go smoothly and she'll do well!

We are so excited for Riley as he left the MTC yesterday for South Africa! We were able to talk to him for a minute while he was in the Chicago airport during his 4 1/2 hr. layover there and also for a minute this morning during his 10 hr. layover in London. He is doing well and is so excited to be going out!! Please keep him in your prayers!!!
Sorry this is so long again but I never think I have anything to update and then they end up being forever long when I finally do!
