So I haven't blogged for a while now because our camera has been broken! We finally have another but I still need to get the pictures from our old one because it used an XD card instead of an SD card and I don't have anything that will play an XD card so I need to take it to walmart and put them on a CD or something. Anyways, January was just busy but nothing exciting! My birthday was February 6th and it was a monday. For the actual day, I had to work in provo and Jason had school so that evening at about 7:30 we went to Kim and Cody's and had cake and ice cream. Kim was so sweet to make me a cake! We would have pictures except that earlier that weekend our camera decided to break! So on Friday, we went to the U of U gymnastics meet. They were competing against Georgia who was ranked #3 at the time and the U was # 1. It was a great meet and the U won!
Then on Saturday, we went with our friends Jared and Kelsey and their little girl Brielle (4 months older than Adi), and Amanda and Joey and their little girl Taylor (2 months older than Adi) to the cottonwood heights rec center where we went swimming. Mike and Kenzie weren't able to come this time and we sure missed them but hopefully next time they can make it! But it was hilarious because poor Brielle and Taylor hated it and cried until they went from the kiddie pool to the deeper pool and even then didn't love it. Adi on the other hand was in heaven! She's a fish! She just sat there and kicked her feet and talked and talked. It was so fun! So back to our camera, it is waterproof (or is supposed to be right?) We have taken it to hawaii and used it in the water there and boating several times. Well Jason thinks it's funny to play tricks on people and "accidentally" drop it in the water to see their reaction. Well he did this and we continued to use it and take pictures. It worked great! Well on my birthday, we went to take pictures and it wouldn't turn on and their was water in the display so needless to say it is a goner! So like I said earlier, I don't have any of those pictures yet. But I did steal this one from Kelsey's blog of the dad's with their girls! I'll post the rest later! Then on Sunday we had Daniel, Ashley and Eli up for a Super Bowl party! Go Giants!

Then for Valentines day, Jason had school and we again didn't do much! We decided that we wanted a new camera so that was our gift to each other! Well we called Jason's amazing photographer cousin John ( see his blog here http://reflectedpixel.com/) to ask him what camera we should buy. We wanted to get a decent camera now that we have Adi and knew he'd have good advice and we were right! He led us to get the Sony Nex-5n camera which takes SLR grade images but is much more compact! So valentines night after Jason got done with school, we went to go get one... well turns out they are crazy popular right now and nobody in Utah has one! Seriously, I called like 30 stores and nobody had any, they were all on backorder. So the next day I ordered one online and got it on Friday the 17th. I LOVE it! I have learned more about photography the last week than in my entire life and I'm so excited to learn more too!!! So that was our Valentines day.

The rest of February has been busy! I was able to go to the Utah Dental Association convention on thrusday the 16th and Friday the 17th. My mom, Shandi and Tressa came and stayed with us to watch Adilynn while I went. Then, my mom and I threw a bridal shower for my cousin Jessica on the 18th which was a lot of fun! Then that evening we packed up and went to richfield for Dale and Barbara's farewell. They leave on the 27th for Guatemala! We are so excited for them but will miss them like crazy! Thank goodness for Skype! We had fun seeing all the family and came back home on monday. Then this week, Jason has had finals and so he's been super busy but he'll be done in 2 1/2 hrs. and then we get a whole week off! I'm so excited!!! Here's cute Kassi! She's doing great too except she ran away the other day but we found her in our neighbors back yard and she couldn't get back over the fence!

- Loves to give mommy kisses! (Starting to give daddy kisses but he's kinda prickly!) (Ignore my face ha ha)
- Still loves bathtime
- Very Opinionated and will let you know when she wants something new!
- HATES rice cereal and the taste of formula! (It literally makes her gag!)
- Sits up now with support behind her
- Has been waking up at like 4, 5 and 6 needing her binkie at night but goes right back to sleep. (thank goodness)
- Is terrified of plastic bags and lets out this high pitched scream whenever she hears someone moving one.
- Loves to talk and talk and talk
- Mom and Dad are loving her more and more everyday!!!! (which I still don't comprehend because we love her SO much!)
