Medical School Begins

Jason has officially began medical school! It's crazy! He had orientation all last week, his white coat ceremony on the 19th, and has started classes all of this week. I am so proud that he has made it into med school!!! He's so busy already and I can tell these next few (only like 10) years are going to be kinda crazy for him! But he's liking it so far! Here are some pictures of the white coat ceremony and after it was over. My camera wouldn't take very good pictures inside so I only got like one good one. It was a great ceremony and had wonderful talks.

This is Adam Bracken and his wife with us. Adam is also a member of the class, (obviously)
Jason decided we needed some fun pictures too! I love that he always keeps life exciting!

Our belly picture!

32 1/2 weeks

It has been really weird for me to see everyone going back to school! I never thought I'd miss it, but I actually do! Not sure I miss all the homework and stuff, but I really enjoy learning and it's weird not to be in that kind of environment. I kinda had a little breakdown the other night as I had been home all day for a few days and Jason has to study everynight. I realized that all I've ever done is school and that I really need to find hobbies that I enjoy doing to take up my time. Then as I've talked to people, they have told me that after this little one comes, I'll have plenty of "hobbies"! Man I hope these next few weeks go by quickly!! But I've been trying to keep busy with work and some little projects for this little girl. I'm making her a blanket that is almost finished so I will post pictures of that later. Jason and I painted her dresser (handles and all) which was way fun to do!

Dresser color before

Primed!

Completed!!

We are getting so excited to meet her!!!! Last Sat. we went downtown to meet Jason's cousin's Daniel and Ashley for lunch before they flew to Arkansas. It was so fun to see them. Then we decided to head over to park city as it's only like 20 min. from our house. Carter's was having an awesome sale and we got some way cute clothes for the baby!!! I love them and can't wait to see them on her!

We also decided that it was in our best interest to sell our little convertible! It was so bitter sweet to see it go! We put it on at 11:00 at night and by the time we got off work the next day there were five people lined up to see it! Only two made it and they both wanted it but we had promised we'd save it for the lady who had called first that morning (which was the second person to come look at it) So now we are a one car family! So far it's worked out great. The only hard days are when I'm in provo working on mon. and wed. but Jason is close enough he can ride his bike if he needs to but wow is it a ride home! We live at the top of this huge hill and he definitely gets a workout! Other than that I just drop him off and pick him up. But here is our last picture with our beloved car! We had so many fun times in "Barbie" but she just isn't very conducive to a baby so now it is someone else's turn to enjoy her!

That's pretty much the happenings at our house lately! It's just kind of a waiting game now until this sweet little one comes! This weekend we are headed down for my little brother's farewell! I'm so excited for him to serve his mission as he leaves next wed but it is also going to be so hard to see him go as we'll miss him more than ever for the next two years!!! My mom is also throwing me a baby shower so there will be more pictures to come!

Summer Fun

This summer has been so much fun! Busy, but fun! Jason and I have LOVED being able to spend some time together as neither of us had school. We both still worked but our evenings together have been so wonderful! Here are some of the fun things we've done this summer.
Erica's Birthday! Love these girls! We sure miss the Ozzello's!

Lamont was able to play in one of Jason's softball games this summer when they didn't have enough players! He loved it and even made it home twice!

Jason and I at the Bees game with Kim and Cody and their cute kids

My amazing little sister Shandi won the Salina Club Rodeo Queen contest for the Junior category and my amazing cousin Ashlin got 2nd attendant! So fun to watch these girlies on their horses!

We spent the fourth of July weekend in Richfield with both of our families this year. I had my class reunion on Friday night, my baby shower with the Jensen family Saturday as well as fireworks in Aurora, and the fourth of July celebration on Monday in Richfield. I didn't get tons of pictures but here a few of the ones I got!

Danielle is 2nd attendant to Miss Sevier County

Tressa was in the parade with the Richfield Mini Cheer program

Shandi and Ash on their horses in the parade

My great friend Stacy threw a baby shower for me for our ward in provo before we moved to salt lake. All of the pictures are on her camera, but we had lots of fun! Thanks again stacy.

Little Claire decided that Kassi's bed was really comfortable!

Tim and Nellie came into town as well! We had so much fun seeing them and miss them so much! It was Nellie's birthday while they were here so I took her and Ali to seasons salon and we got glitter toes. It was so much fun to be with them again! (Sorry this one is sideways, it wouldn't switch)

Then middle of July was also the Jensen reunion. I wasn't able to go because of my baby shower, but Jason went. Then his parents helped us move all our big stuff up to Salt Lake. The next week, my family came up and helped us clean/paint the provo house all day! They were such a great help and I couldn't have done it without them.

Then our friends Kellen and Lisa Hilton invited us up to Solitute to their condo for the weekend! We had so so much fun and it was a much needed getaway after moving everything!

My friend Rebecca gave her homecoming report of her mission a couple of weekends ago! It was so much fun to see her again! We then went to lunch that week and were able to catch up! She also offered us some tickets to a dinner up at Snowbird for Sat. that her cousin had that he couldn't use. We ended up going and had a great time. It's so nice to just be up in the mountains! (I know, I'm wearing the same outfit as in the last pictures. ha ha there is only so much you can wear being pregnant and these were like 3 weeks apart!)

I have also been awful at documenting my baby belly! As you all know, I'm so bad at taking pictures. I have to get better at it so I don't miss my babies growing up! She's growing so much and I can't wait to meet her! I am 31 weeks tomorrow so we have about nine weeks left! We can't wait. We did take this picture at Snowbird and I'm 30 1/2 weeks.
Well that's a little of our summer. Jason starts medical school next week so it will be back to the grinding stone but we sure have enjoyed our time this summer! But at least we can look forward to our little girl coming!!!!
