Labor Day Weekend

I know I know... Three new posts! I'm on a roll!!   Labor Day weekend this year was so fun! My Grandma and Grandpa Hales celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary! They had a big reception for them on Saturday but before we knew about it Jason had surprised me with Sugarland tickets. So we went to Sugarland on Saturday night at USANA Amphitheater and then Sunday morning, we drove down to my grandparents cabin where we had a big family dinner. It was so fun to get together with all my Aunts and Uncles and cousins. We had family here from Virginia, Mississippi and California! It was a blast! We were so sad we had to miss Saturday but we had SO much fun at Sugarland!!!  We got soaking wet before the concert started and it almost got canceled but then the rain stopped and we just got drizzled on throughout it.  We were down in the pit so it was the closest I'd ever been at a concert!

This is a band I had never heard of opening first but they did a great job!

Kim was so sweet and offered to watch Adi while we went to the concert! It was definitely a desperately needed date! Thanks Kim and Cody!!

On Monday, we were able to ride horses and go bowling with Paul, Becca and their cute boys!!  We always have so much fun with them too!  It was a great weekend!

Camping with Friends

I just realized I never blogged about our fun camping trip! After we got home from yellowstone on Wednesday that week, we were home Thursday and then Friday we went camping with a few of our friends from Medical school. We had so much fun and are so grateful for good friends! We were sad that a few couldn't come but we had a blast with Jared, Kelsey and Brielle  and Jason, Tiffany and Miley! 

Thanks grandma and grandpa for letting us use the cabin! It was a blast!

11 Months

Yes yes, I am a slacker and totally forgot to blog about Adi's 10 month but here we are and my baby is 11 Months! It's so crazy! Next month she'll be 1 year old!! I'm actually kind of devastated about it! I'm not ready for her to grow up. She's my little buddy though and I love her to pieces!

At 11 months Adi:

• Loves to blow spit bubbles (gross I know but it's so cute. She just says mmmmaaaa and blows these bubbles)
• Loves to cruise along the couch and with Dino
• Loves to eat mom and dad's food but still likes her baby food.
• Loves blueberry's but thats about the only fruit she will consistently eat if it's not in baby food form. 
• Hates laying back in the bath now but loves everything else about water still
• Says Mama, Dada, Kassi, Riley (while looking at his picture on the fridge), Parker (same as Riley) and tells us what a doggy, monkey and bear say
• Hates it when mom leaves the room and has become quite clingy to mom or dad
• Gets SOOOO excited when daddy comes home at night and just wants him to hold her.
• Has finally started going to Grandpa and loves to be with him! :) We just forced her to go to him one night and now she loves him!
• Will crawl up the stairs but HATES trying to learn to go down them on her tummy.... We have to watch her so close because she'll just take off up them. She's only had two small tumbles and it was like 1 stair both times! Here's to hoping she doesn't have any bad ones!
• Loves to ride horses!
• Loves to have her shoes put on..... Jason's a little worried about how much she loves shoes already!
• Is so good to let mommy do her hair and (knock on wood), doesn't pull it out.....yet!
• Loves to dance whenever any music comes on or mom sings
• Learned to click her tongue and thinks it's so fun

Adi LOVES Kassi but Kassi sure avoids Adi when she can but occasionally Kassi will play with Adi if she has something Kassi wants

(please don't mind the mess in these videos, Adi loves to pull everything out and mom gets to clean it up every night!)

She's loves to pull all of her diapers out of the basket and the movies off the shelves.
