16 months and Growing

Lately we have been super busy! Jason is trying to get as much studying done as possible and has scheduled Step 1 for June 15th!! He's been studying a ton and also trying to get in a ton of research on top of all his other school responsibilities! I have just been working, babysitting and being a mommy (my favorite thing to do!!)  Adi is a ton of fun right now too! She is 16 months!! Where did my baby go? She is definitely a toddler now!

At her 15 months appointment:
Weight: 20 lbs. 14 oz. (45%)
Height: 31.2" (70th%)
Head: 17.75" (10th%)

So yes, she still has a tiny head but is getting so big and is such a blast!! Poor girl has been teething for weeks now.  She has all her incisors, central and lateral, all 4 molars (she just got her upper and lower left molars FINALLY!) and is now getting her lower left canine!  She's handled it like a champ though!! She still sleeps awesome (knock on wood) and has been a happy girl lately! She did go through a phase where she would cry over everything!!! But recently has been so happy (again, knock on wood!)  Things that are Adi at 16 months:

  • She talks like crazy and repeats everything we say!
  • She LOVES animals and knows so many animal noises! That's what you get when you live by the zoo!
  • She loves fruit
  • She LOVES to dance!!!  (Especially to One Directions That's What Makes You Beautiful!)
  • She LOVES daddy!!! If dad is around, mama doesn't exist!
  • She is becoming very independent and doesn't want help with anything (unless dad is home to help her!)
  • She loves her new fish happy and we have to watch her when she helps us feed him so she doesn't dump a handful of food in.
  • She is very outgoing and loves to meet new people. She's still a little hesitant of men but women she will go right up to and sit on their lap (especially at story time)
  • She is very attentive and loves to explore around her
  • She still likes storybots but not as much as she used to!
  • She laughs all the time and loves to be chased
  • She's still not very into watching TV/movies but loves to watch short youtube videos on the computer or phones.
  • If you ask her to point to her crayons, she can show you the blue, green, yellow, purple and white ones consistently correct, but you have to say, "where's blue?" etc.
Adi is our world! We love her so much and can't imagine our lives without her!!  Here are some fun pictures!

Being a good girl at church!

She LOVES her ducky towel Grammy made her!

Daddy put stickers all over her. He didn't know they would stick to much and wouldn't come off without leaving welts... Oops!

Hangin out playing some games!

Such a girly girl!

Look at my curls! Her hair has gotten so curly!

We love playing with friends!

We have gotten so much snow this year!! We took Adi tubing at the park by our house and she LOVED it!!!

Love aunt Danielle!

It almost makes me sad that she's so old! My goodness! SHE IS SO BIG! The doctor statistics are so funny to me because I don't think her head is that small. I think she's pretty perfect and pretty darn adorable! We miss you guys, but I can't imagine being that busy all the time. I hope you get a free moment one of these days.
