18 months

Adi is 18 months!!!  We went to her 18 month well child check yesterday and she is doing great! Here are her stats:

Weight: 23 lbs. 1 oz. (55th percentile)
Height: 32.5" (70th percentile)
Head: 18" (10th percentile)

She is right on track to where she's always been; tiny head, average weight and tall.  She is SO much fun right now! Here is more about Adi.

• She's starting to put words together now. Like, "Hi guys, Bye guys" "see ya later", "more milk" etc. 
• She knows the colors blue, white, red, green, pink, purple, and orange and can tell you which color it is if you ask her. (She usually gets them right as long as she's paying attention, otherwise she'll just say any color)
• She LOVES her new cosy coupe car. I can't keep her out of it. The second night she had it I had to feed her dinner in it cause she didn't want to get out.  Whatever it takes to keep them happy and healthy! 
• She loves to sing. She's started to sing on her own but loves mom to sing to her. She'll tell you which songs she wants to sing too. Her favorites right now are "animals- I climbed up the apple tree, "boop boop" (down in the meadow), "Itsy bitsy", "foo foo" (little bunny foo foo) and "temple" I love to see the temple.  Pretty much any time we are in the car, we are singing.
• She still loves to dance.
• She still won't watch a movie for more than 2 minutes. That would mean she'd have to sit still :)
• She'll give mommy hugs and kisses but not daddy! She just loves loves to play with daddy and would all day if she could!
• She's starting to FINALLY give up her binkie a little bit more. We are down to just nap time and bed time now and occasionally the car. HUGE improvement!

We sure love this girl! She has had too many ear infections this year so we are meeting with the ENT on the 25th of this month to see if she needs tubes. Hopefully she won't but I just want these ear infections to go away. She's such a happier girl the first week she's off antibiotics because her ears don't hurt and her diarrhea goes away from the antibiotic. The infection always seems to come back two weeks later though. But, yesterday at her dr. appointment, he said it looks about 90% better (she did just finish another round of antibiotic though) so hopefully it will go away and she'll grow out of it!

When daddy babysits, they often go to city creek so adi can play on the playplace there. Adi LOVES it!  (mom doesn't know what to think because of all the germs, but the Dr. daddy says it's ok. They wash her hands and feet really well! I guess you have to let kids be kids!)
