Ute Stampede

Yesterday evening, we rode our motorcycle from our house in provo to nephi. Yes, sitting on the back of the motorcycle for an hour there and an hour back with two hours of sitting in between does take a tole on your back and your backside! But, it was lots of fun. We met Jason, Melinda and their three oldest kids at the fairgrounds for the Ute Stampede. It was a good rodeo. At the beginning, there was a sky diver who came out of a plane dragging a big flag behind him and landed in the arena. That was really cool! Then we watched the bareback riding, saddlebronc, barrels, hyde racing, calf roping, team roping, and finally the bulls. There was also a guy who came to entertain called the one armed bandit. He only has one real arm which he holds a whip with and then guides his horse with his legs. He rides really well and gathers two big buffalo onto a big horse trailer. It was a fun trip and thanks Jason and Lin for getting us the tickets!
