Happenings at the Jensens

So these last few months have been so fun but crazy! Dale and Barbara went into the MTC on Feb. 27th so we were able to go down to Richfield on the 25th to see them before they left. While we were there, we fed Adi her first solids! She loves them!

Adi's first time eating solid foods!
We said goodbye (sort of) to grandma and grandpa Jensen sunday and they left monday.  That week was Jasons spring break so we stayed in Richfield on Monday and Tuesday and went bowling with Becca and Paul and their family and our friends Tyson and Bryanne and Michael and Cassie. It was so fun to see them! They are such great friends! Adi was so tired that she mainly just slept in her car seat the whole time.

On Wed. we headed to St. George. We met our friends Jared and Kelsey at Zions National Park and went on a couple of little hikes. It was so much fun and Adi loved being outside!

My dolly! I love her!

We had so much fun with Jared and Kelsey and Brielle
We then headed down to St. George and we all met up with Amanda and Joey and Taylor.  We ate at Pizza Factory then went to the house we had rented to hang out and play games. After getting the babies to sleep, we sat around and talked and played games.  It was so fun to be with friends and just get away!

We were supposed to stay there until friday but at 2:00 AM Adi woke up with croup! It was horrible!  She had that seal bark cough and couldn't breath well. It was so scary so the next morning, we packed up and left cause we didn't want the other babies to get it.  We called Becca's old pediatrics place and they were able to get us in but not until 12:00 so we went to the mall and walked around until her appointment. They gave her a steroid to put in her food for the next few days to open her airway which helped a ton. After the appointment we headed from sunny st. george back to snowy Richfield which was kind of a bummer. We stayed the night there and then headed home friday. Overall it was a great trip but it was so hard to see my baby girl so sick! I hate it when she doesn't feel well! Especially when she can't breathe!
After we got back, Jason started school again and is ridiculously busy as usual! We were able to take a trip to the zoo as a family though which was way fun! We got some fun pictures! While we were there, we put Adi up to the glass and this huge gorilla walks over and puts his face nose to nose with Adi's and just stares at her for like 10 minutes! It was hilarious. At first she didn't know what to think but then just loved staring at him too! I wish the pictures were better but her outfit was reflecting on the glass so they are hard to see but it was super cool. We also go to see a peacock dancing for a peahen with his feathers all spread out so that was super neat also! I love living so close to the zoo and being able to go whenever we want. I thought we'd get sick of it but the animals have so much personality and I love to just watch them.

"Mom, is this ok?"

Oh man!

We were also able to have Brielle over the other night and the two of them just sat and played and laughed at Kassi all night! It was so fun to babysit her. Kelsey is the one who babysits Adi while I'm at work so Adi and Brielle get along so well and just love to play! It's so fun to have such good friends!

We love Brielle too!
Overall it's been a great month and I just can't believe my baby will be six months next week! Where has time gone!!  She's so grown up and I'll post more about her six month facts next week!
Love my Jumparoo!

Adi holding her bottle by herself! She's pretty good but it still falls sometimes

Love this smile!

That picture with the gorilla is great! It reminds me of that movie, "Return to Me"? Remember that?
She is so adorable. You guys are such a cute little family. I love the activities that you have planned while Jason has time away from school.
When we move to Cedar City feel free to stop by and stay the night whenever you want! Or just come say hello, its a nice little break before you get into St. George.
Miss you Kayli! Feels like I haven't seen you in ages. (probably because I haven't)

Oh Kayli, we miss you guys. So scary that she got croup and I'm so glad she got over it ok. Hopefully the sleep routine will kick in again. It's a pain getting that back.
